The Wine Route of Venetia and the Palladian Villas
4 days of wine, gastronomic and cultural experiences on the steps of Andrea Palladio
- Visiting three of the most beautiful Palladian Villas, of which two with magnificent frescoes respectively painted by Veronese and Tiepolo.
- Along the Wine Route of Venetia you get to know family-run wineries on the banks of Garda Lake, in Valpolicella, in Soave, in the Valdobbiadene and on the Venetian lagoon.
- Visiting Vicenza, the city of Palladio with the Olympic Theater and Verona with the Arena and its lyric Art festival.
- Two cruises : on the Brenta River and then on the Venice Lagoon.

Day 1 : Vicenza and the Berici Hills
- Visiting Vicenza, the city of the famous Renaissance architect, Andrea Palladio : The Olympic Theatre, the Palladian Basilica, Piazza dei Signori.
- Visiting two of the most famous Palladian villas in the south of Vicenza.
- Visiting and tasting the local cheese, the “pecorino”, in a farm of the Berici Mountains.
- Back to the hotel.
- Free dinner and overnight.

Day 2 : the Valdobbiadene, Maser and Bassano del Grappa
- Visit, wine tasting and lunch in a historic winery of the Valdobbiadene region – homeland of a renowned sparkling wine, the Prosecco.
- In Maser, visiting Villa Barbaro dating from 1560, one of the most famous Palladian villas with its “en trompe l’œil” frescoes from Veronese and its gardens.
- Lunch at the Villa’s Restaurant.
- Visiting a medieval village near Maser.
- In Basssano del Grappa, you can admire the Ponte degli Alpini built by Palladio, then visit a distillery and taste different varieties of Grappa.
- Stroll through a medieval village known for its “Place of chess” where stands a giant chessboard.
- Back to the hotel.
- Free dinner and overnight.

Day 3 : Valpolicella, the Garda Lake, Verona and Soave
- In the North West of Verona, visiting and tasting of Valpolicella Classico Superiore and Amarone della Valpolicella Classico in a historical wine estate.
- On the shores of the Garda lake, visiting a winery and tasting the local red wine, the Bardolino.
- Lunch in a trattoria overviewing the Lake.
- Visiting Verona: the bullring, Piazza delle Erbe, la Porta Borsari.
- Visiting and tasting Soave Classico and Recioto di Soave Classico in a wine estate in Soave. Strolling through the medieval village.
- Back to the hotel.
- Free dinner and overnight.

Day 4 : Padua, the Brenta river and the Venice lagoon
- Visiting Padua : the Scrovegni chapel and Saint Antoine Basilica.
- Small cruise on the Brenta River down to Venice. Visiting a historic villa on the Riviera del Brenta.
- Lunch in a restaurant on the banks of the river.
- Tour of the lagoon by private boat. Stop and wine tasting on an island of the lagoon where a fine white wine is produced.
- Transfer to Venice Marco Polo airport.
